Akhirnya, setelah sekian lama agak ngiri sama temen-temen blogger Indonesia yang lain yang bisa eksis walopun blognya pake bahasa Indonesia sekarang mutusin untuk nulis blog ini dalam dua bahasa. Yup! Pastinya nambah kerjaan lagi (itu pasti) tapi pengeeeen banget bisa sedikit cerita-cerita pake bahasa ibu dan sering kali kalo nulis pake bahasa Inggris jadi ga puas gitu ceritanya.

So, semoga mulai sekarang saya bisa konsisten nulis blog ini pake dua bahasa ya :)

Ga kerasa udah bulan Februari aja nih, kemana si Januari perginya ya? Hiks…. Cepetan dateng lagi ya…. Jangan lama-lama perginya…

Kali ini saya lagi mood masak-masak nih, makanya bikin menu lengkap. Roti jala, Kari ayam sama Sambel goreng ati. Hmmm… nyam nyam nyam.. Tapi tentunya ketiga resep itu harus dibagi-bagi di beberapa post dong. Biar ga bingung (padahal males nulis panjang-panjang) hehehe..

Setelah beberapa kali googling resep roti jala ini, akhirnya “nyontek” resep blog negara tetangga. Ternyata gampang banget bikinnya. Mirip banget sama crepe / pancake / kulit lumpia. Cocok banget dimakan sama kari ayam dan sambel goreng hati (resep nyusul ya).

Oia, walopun tampaknya kurang meyakinkan (soalnya ga punya cetakannya sih) *alesan* tapi yang penting kan rasanya… :D

Bahan:

  • 400g tepung terigu
  • 200g susu cair
  • 440g air
  • 2 telur
  • 1/2 sdt garam
  • 1/4 sdt kunyit bubuk
  • minyak

Cara Membuat:

  • Masukkan semua bahan kedalam mangkuk besar.
  • Campur dan aduk menggunakan kocokan tangan (balloon whisk) sampai tercampur rata. Diamkan selama 30 menit.
  • Letakkan wajan anti lengket diatas kompor (api kecil). Tuangkan 1 sdt minyak kedalam wajam kemudian lap ringan menggunakan tisu.
  • Ambil sedikit adonan roti jala (saya menggunakan centong biasa), tuang perlahan adonan dengan membentuk motif jala. Biarkan masak selama 30 detik sampai 1 menit. Balik roti jala, dan masak 1 menit. Angkat. Sisihkan.

Finally, after being a bit jealousy for a while with my fwllow indonesian bloggers but still famous even though they write the blog in indonesian, I decided to writw my blog in 2 languages. Well, of course a bit more work for me but sometimes I have that kind of feeling when I just want to talk in my first language.
So hopefully I can keep writing this blog in 2 languages.

It’s already February? When did January go?

Today’s post is about when I was in a cooking mood, that’s why I made 3 different foods. Net bread, chicken curry and spicy stir-fry chicken liver. But today I’ll only share the recipe of the net bread.
I had to look around for a while until I found this recipe. It is soooo very easy. Very very similar with pancake / crepe. Even though it doesn’t look very pretty but they’re sooooo good when you eat them with curry and the spicy liver.

And please don’t ask me why we named it net bread, because I really don’t know :P

Ingredients:

  • 400g all purpose flour
  • 200g milk
  • 440g water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
  • oil

How to:

  • Put all the ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Mix everything by using balloon whisk until nice and smooth. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  • Place a non stick pan over low heat stove. Add 1 tsp oil into the pan and wipe lightly using kitchen paper.
  • Take 1 soup spoon of the batter and pour slowly and draw the net motif. Let it cook for 30 to 1 minute on each side. Set aside and repeat the process.
