Hi! I just wanted to say this is one of the best cooking blogs I have come upon. All the recipes look absolutely delicious and the photography is unbelievably amazing. I’m only starting to learn how to cook, but I hope I can try some of these recipes. My main question though is what are some basic ingredients to always have in the house? A lot of recipes in general call for very specific ingredients, but its always helpful to have some basic things in the pantry/fridge (ingredients which a lot of recipes call for- like butter, flour, baking soda, honey, eggs, etc.). Can you maybe add on to this a little? Thanks, and very happy I came upon your blog!
Hi, thank you very much for the lovely comment.
I am actually working on that (ingredients index). But yes, I always have butter, margarin, flour, 4 types of sugar, egg, baking soda / powder, honey, 3 types of chocolate, milk, cream, nuts. Thats for sweets only. Should start with something easy if you just starting to cook. Good luck!
