Indonesian Crackers part 2

Can’t believe we’re in part 2 already.. 😀 Oh well, another bragging time I guess, eh? :p

I said before in my previous post, Indonesia has soooooooooo very really many types of crackers (pardon my grammar, exaggerating a bit :p). This time I want to share some moe types I have here in my cupboard.

 

The first one you can see here also called Kerupuk Palembang. And I got this from a friend of mine. I think it was my lucky day that time. Was very happy when I got this, plus tips from her as well. Apparently you can “cook” crackers in microwave!!! How amazing is that? Never ever thought about that before she told me. Really cool. So you don’t have to stand all day in front of stove and frying crackers. Which use a loooot of oil too.

I tried that technique right when she got home. It worked! Only need 40 secs to cook them. Unbelievable! But the minus point from that is, the taste slightly different. And at the end of the day Istill prefer cook them in oil :p

Anyway, this crackers came from the same city called Palembang. Almost the same taste but different look.

 

Second one here is a vegetarian crackers. It made from some kind of nut called, Belinjo. Its slightly bitter but in a nice way and can make you addicted to it like my husband. I think this is the only crackers he likes the most :p
