My husband’s granny is a very good cook. She is more than 70 years old already but she look healthy and cute, and she walks fast. And she’s also very nice. I like her a lot.
Few months ago we visited her, and when she took out dessert fridge, it looked very tempting to me already. I think she knew that I don’t like caramel very much, so that time she made something fruity. It was some kind of kiwi sauce in a small sauce jar and white fluffy thing in a shot cup. When I gave it a taste, it was REALLY REALLY nice. Perfect sweetness and melted in my mouth.
So, I was whispering to my hubby and asked him if I can get the recipe from her :p
Then he asked her for me. And she said its pretty easy to make. For the sauce only kiwi and sugar. As for the white thing (I thought it was white chocolate mousse) its ready to use pudding mix :p Cheating, I know. But she still a good cook for me. And I wanted to try that recipe too. But instead of using pudding mix, I want to make white chocolate mousse instead.
My husband and daughter loved it a lot. Me, not really. Because it was sweeter than the pudding mix 😦
But still a big hit in my family. Very refreshing too 🙂
You can follow everything there.
For the sauce:
2 tbsp icing sugar
3 tbsp water
– Cut kiwis into small pieces. And put the in a pot.
– Add in icing sugar and water. Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes. And mash it with potato masher or other tools. But DO NOT put it in a blender or food processor to make it smooth. Because you’ll end up with black and bitter kiwi sauce.
