Who doesn’t eat fast food? I don’t like it that much now after I have my daughter. And we rarely eating out too. I make my own fast food most of the time when I don’t feel like cooking. But there’s this one fast food that I like the most (you know.. the one got famous because of their chickens :D) unfortunately they don’t have it here. How sad. The closest one I can find is in Copenhagen, Denmark. Wwwwweeeew,, expensive chicken 😛
So if you know the brand I’m talking about, I assume you knew that they have something called twister. Which is chicken wrapped in tortilla.
That’s what I was craving for. I made this chicken wrap to save lots of money and time to travel for 4 hours to Copenhagen just to eat chicken wrap. The result… not so bad.. It’s not the same of course, but it was satisfying enough.
I made the chicken using my mum’s recipe for fried chicken. But I only use chicken breasts. Better if you marinate the chicken over night.
- fried chicken breasts
- sliced cucumber
- sliced tomato
- sliced radish
- flour tortilla
for the sauce
- 5 tbsp mayo
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp tabasco suace (depending how you like it)
- Mix the ingredients for the suace in a bowl. Stir well.
- To assemble. take 1 tortilla, spread some sauce in the middle, take some lettuce, tomato, cucumber and radish. Place chicken on top of the salads. Wrap it. Enjoy.
This can be a great party snack too. Just prepare the ingredients and your guests can make themselves a wrap. Less work for you 😀
