A sweet recipe for late night snack.
In the previous post I posted roll cake. This time is a roll bread. Maybe this bread-cream-fruit combination is not so strange in some country. But for me personally find it a little bit weird. A little bit skeptical about the taste even before I tried on making it. But I tried anyway 😛

Strawberry Roll Bread
- 3 slices of bread
- whipped cream
- strawberry, sliced
- Cut the brown edge of the bread.
- Use rolling pin to flatten the bread.
- Spread some whipped cream and sliced strawberry.
- Roll. Serve.
It doesn’t taste quite like a roll cake (duh! obviously!). And slightly dry.
One of the show’s emcee said, “it tastes a little bit like a roll cake, but of course I prefer a real roll cake”. I have to agree with him. Even if I’m craving for roll cake, I don’t think I want to eat this. And how often do you have a ready whipped cream at home? At least I never have any. I always use fresh cream. And I know I will never take out my balloon whisk or hand mixer in the middle of the night just to whip some cream for this roll bread.
