Happy Monday, everyone! (err.. sorry..)
A couple of days ago I made this banana chocolate turnover-ish snack. And when I uploaded the photo in my facebook, some of friends requested me to priority this recipe so they can try it themselves too. You see, I have something to tell you about my habit when I’m blogging. When most of food bloggers post about the food they make at the same day or maybe the next day the latest, I usually blog about them at least 2 weeks the fastest, sometimes even a month or more. When I have the mood to cook lots of foods then I’ll be too tired to write anything about it. So I usually write when I don’t have the mood to try new recipes. I guess some of my friends know about that habit, because it usually take me forever to post about a recipe they ask me about. That’s why I priority this recipe.
Are you like that too? Or do you like to blog about a certain food you just made at the same day?
Anyway, I don’t know how to translate this snack’s name to English. I decided with turnover-ish because the pastry is very similar with puff pastry, but easier to make.
I got the recipe from Indonesian cooking group. It was a hit in the group, everyone wanted to try this recipe because the original recipe didn’t use butter in it, only margarine. I guess that’s one of the reason everyone was so interested in this version. Much cheaper. But I don’t have margarine at home (I don’t remember when was the last time I had margarine in my fridge). I like butter a lot more. It smells better. It tastes better. More expensive than margarine, yes, but worth it.
